I have enjoyed a highly successful thirty-year career as an insurance and reinsurance coverage litigator, with a concentration in Directors & Officers, Professional Liability, Property Insurance, and Complex Casualty Claims.  I also have arbitrated numerous complex reinsurance disputes as first chair.  I am the former Chair of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Committee of the American Bar Association (TIPS Section), and the former Chair of the Reinsurance Committee of the ABA. I am a member of the roster of arbitrators of both the American Arbitration Association (AAA) and the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).  I have long served as a Judge Pro Tem, appointed by the Commerce Court in Philadelphia to achieve settlement of the most complex commercial cases before the Court. As a professional mediator, my background and focus facilitates clear communication and accurate evaluations, enabling me to chart the most efficient path toward resolution. I focus on the area of the law that I know thoroughly: insurance (including common underlying claims, such as E&O and construction lawsuits) and reinsurance.
